ABOUT GREENSIDE AND GREENSIDE FORUM
Greenside is a suburb nested in Northern Johannesburg, with humble beginnings and a rich history it has grown into one of the most progressive areas in Johannesburg. Greenside centres around a warm and developing business hub, as well as a youthful and energetic college and nightlife scene. With two learning institutions along one of it's busiest streets- Greenside Design Center and Carlton Hair - the suburb frequently sees the traffic of young and progressive thinkers, as a result the community aim to use this association to promote the edgey feel of the neighbourhood while creating a safe and inspirational environment to all it's residents and users.
The Greenside Forum is a virtual space for the Greenside community to meet, communicate and discuss all that is Greenside... By creating a community that extends beyond the reaches of human contact, the residence, business owners and Residence Association are able to keep up to date with developments within Greenside. As this represents a lucrative hub, the forum is blog based and constantly updated, this also allows flexibility and feasibilty. The forum contents include: Notable news updates, GRA information and updates, monthly and annual community events to-be-held, imperative emergency and safety information, a neighbourhood directory service, information about the residence as well as information and updates about local businesses (this includes specials and community incentives).
